I’ve been married to my husband for 22 years & I’m a mother of three. I’m a graduate of Clemson University and I formerly worked in several aspects of science & healthcare. We lead a very busy life as 2 of our children have special needs so we stay on the go to all kinds of therapies, but Scentsy is my 4th baby. I love it! We have a cat and and two little dogs. Our home is always busy and noisy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Many years ago I was at a Bible study & it was suggested that lighting scented candles created a homey atmosphere. I bought a few small ones & my husband came home & blew them out stating, "You're going to burn the house down!" I found Scentsy in 2012 and then he had no excuse. There is no flame, smoke, or soot. I'm a safety girl! Scentsy is the highest quality scented wax I've ever used and the most cost efficient. Win/win for the accountant husband!
I was buying so much product that I thought I might as well start Scentsy myself so I could get some moolah back on all of my purchases. Because, let's face it, Scentsy is like opening a can of Pringles. You aren't going to eat just one. You are going to eat the whole tube!
I joined Scentsy on February 4, 2015 and offered this experience to my friends in a no pressure environment. What started as a hobby has turned into a full blown passion!
This has been the best decision ever! I am blessed to lead my TEAM, This Little Light of Mine, to success as well. I get to spend my time serving my clients, helping my team members grow & succeed, and I finally have something just for me. I'm no longer just Mommy. I have an identity too. I'm Phyllis, the crazy colored hair, Scentsy Lady!
I have formed so many new and strong friendships through Scentsy. It's not a job, it's definitely a lifestyle. I have developed so much self confidence by meeting goal after goal that I have set for myself & I LOVE passing my experience, training, & success on to my team. They are growing by leaps & bounds too!
Scentsy has given me so much joy! A big part of it is accomplishing my goals. But the best part is connecting with new friends & reconnecting with old friends...all because of This Little Light of Mine, Scentsy.
